2025/26 Transportation

 Dear Parents,
 
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, our goal is to assign bus seats only to students who plan to use school transportation regularly. We’ve seen a growing number of students assigned to routes who rarely—if ever—ride the bus. In fact, we currently have several hundred students assigned to routes who do not regularly use the service.
 
Reserving a seat for the entire school year and only using it once—or not at all—limits our ability to provide efficient transportation to students who truly rely on it. To better serve our school community, we are working to ensure that only those in need of daily transportation are assigned to a route.
 
     We understand that emergencies can arise, and in those cases, we are always willing to work with families to arrange transportation on a one-time or short-term basis.
 
     We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve the efficiency and reliability of our transportation system.

We ask that one form be submitted per student who plans to utilize LPS transportation next school year. Deadline is June 15, 2025
