Extended Day
St. Michael Catholic School provides an Extended Day program that offers before and after-school child care for students in a safe, nurturing environment. The Extended Day program is offered to students in 4 Year Preschool through Grade 8. The Extended Day staff is dedicated to helping families support their child's growth and development.
In the morning, students have quiet play or study time. In the afternoon, students in the program have the opportunity to participate in a variety of supervised activities, including:
- Outdoor play on the playground
- Quiet study in the homework room
- Indoor games (toys, games, puzzles) or art projects
The Extended Day program provides a convenient location for those students involved in after-school activities.
Extended Day hours are 7:00 - 7:55 am before school and 3:00 - 6:00 pm after school. Extended Day is not available on half days of school or when school is not in session.
