Parent / Teacher Conferences for Grades 7 & 8

Dear Junior High Parents,

The Junior High Team would like to invite parents to our Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, November 12, from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 13, from 7 AM-11:30 AM. All conferences will be held in the school cafeteria and will be a brief 10-minute exchange. We ask that if you have questions or concerns for specific teachers, please make those teachers your priority. Please know that if you have a larger concern, you may reach out to us anytime to arrange a more comprehensive conference. Please click on the attached Conference Sign Up Link for conferences.

In addition, the Junior High Team would also like to clarify the conduct grading system expectations for the Junior High. As you know, our standards for student behavior are high. With that said, a "1" in conduct is reserved for our students who are always quiet, respectful, attentive, and on task. A "2" in conduct is our typical Junior High student who is mostly on task, occasionally talkative, but easy to redirect. MOST of our junior high students are 2's. A "2" is a good conduct score in Junior High. A conduct score of a "3" or "4" is reserved for students who are disruptive, disrespectful, off-task, and/or who have received numerous sign-in's or suspensions. We hope this helps you to decipher the conduct scores of your child when report cards come home.

We look forward to seeing you during our conference days. Thank you for all you do!!

Bless you,

The Junior High Staff
