Field Day Information Updates!
Schedule:
Monday Grades 1-4 Field Day ( Full Day of School), No School for 5-8
Tuesday Grades 5-8 Field Day (Full Day of School), No School for 1-4
Just a few updates to the field day
- Field Day Shirts will be going home this week
- Please wear your field day shirt with your uniform gym shorts, socks, and tennis shoes. No open-toe shoes, sandals, or Crocs are allowed.
- Must bring a labeled water bottle
- Since we are outside most of the day, please have students apply sunscreen before coming to school.
- Students may wear silly hair for field day. In the past, they would wear their hair in little pig-tails (yes, boys and girls). I ask for NO FACE PAINT because they sweat it off, and it gets into their eyes. I am okay with little face decals if appropriate for school (no violent or inappropriate language or images).
- Tug-O-War will be at 2 pm on the rectory lawn (off the church parking lot). Families are welcome! Grades 1-4 on Monday, Grades 5-8 on Tuesday.
- Students will be dropped off by 7:55 in the regular loop or by bus and dismissed at 3:05, like usual. Students will be dismissed from their classrooms. Parents may NOT take students home after Tug-O-War. This violates our AOD safe environment procedures. PARENT VOLUNTEERS MAY NOT PARK IN THE SCHOOL OR CHURCH LOTS ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY–please park at Mies Park and walk down the block to the cafeteria doors to check in (starting at 7:45 am).
🎂Cake Walk for Field Day
- We are adding a cake walk to the field day agenda! Mrs. DiPonio is asking for volunteers to help donate cakes to make this a success! Please sign up here
