2026/2027 Applications, Enrollment, Tuition Assistance

Current Family Enrollment is now open for current families, and New Family Enrollment begins this Sunday. If you have a preschooler, kindergarten or first grade student for the 26/27 school year, please try to submit Enrollment before Open House this Sunday.
 
The enrollment checklist can be found at the following SMA webpage link under the Enrollment/Reenrollment section. The enrollment process is not completed until all items listed in this section have been received by the school. This includes:
  • Online Enrollment Form found on Facts Family Portal main page under Apply/Enroll then Reenrollment.
  • A paper Tuition Contract and Fees submitted to Theresa Liptak or Lisa Hudy.  
    • If you would like to have the registration and tech fees paid via FACTS, all you need to do is complete the Tuition Contract - mark the box for FACTS on the right-hand side, indicating you wish to pay them by FACTS. If you check this box, you have the option to email Theresa Liptak or Lisa Hudy
    • If you do not check pay through FACTS, please submit the signed Tuition Contract and fees to Theresa Liptak or Lisa Hudy via the school office.
  • If you have a new student (not current student) enrolling this year, complete the new student application section before the Enrollment/Reenrollment section. We anticipate waitlists in some grades and want to ensure our numbers are accurate. Current students do not need a Student Application.

Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance applications for both the Archdiocese of Detroit and St. Michael School are open, and the deadline for submission to the AOD is Friday, February 27. Applications, 2024 Tax Forms, and the Pastor Signature Form are needed. Pastor Signature Forms can be found through a link on our website and must be submitted to Mrs. Hudy.

There is also a limited amount of tuition assistance available for Non-Catholic families through the AOD. The application and deadlines are the same. However, the Pastor Signature Form is not required.

There is one application for both, accessible through the Financial Page of your Family Portal. Click on “Apply for Aid” in the Financial Links section on the right. The application fee is $30.
