- The school scrip program gives you tuition credit when you use gift cards to purchase things you already buy.
- A family spending $100 on groceries and $50 on gas each week can typically earn $285 per year in refunds/credit!
- When you plan ahead for large purchases, home improvements, or family trips, you can earn a lot more!

How it Works
The program has two components.
- You buy gift cards from the school office or the RaiseRight website (see details below). A percentage of the purchase price goes to the school and a percentage goes to your tuition credit. The percentage varies by the merchant from 1% to 12% for a tuition refund.
- You sign up for a grocery card or a grocery reward program and a certain percentage of your purchases goes to your refund. The amount varies by the grocery store.
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get SCRIP from the school office? Fill out a Scrip Order form sent home on Mondays or available for download here. Send it to school with your child or drop it off in the office with cash or a check made out to St. Michael Parent Group. Orders are placed Monday morning and gift cards will be sent home on Friday with your student or you can pick them up from the school office.
Where can I find a list of the most common merchants? The most frequently used merchants are on the order form sent home on Mondays or available for download here. To order a card not on the list, write it in on the lower right section of the form.
Where can I find a list of all the merchants available? Go to www.raiseright.com and click on the link Participant Resources at the bottom of the page under the heading Fundraising Info. Then, open or download the Brand List.
Can I select the cards on-line and get physical cards delivered to me? Yes. Contact Lisa Hudy for the St. Michael School sign-up code on the RaiseRight website. After you sign-up, you can order the cards and select Physical delivery. Place your order anytime, your order will be processed the following Monday and cards will be sent home that Friday.
Can I select the cards on-line and pay through the school? Yes, when you go to checkout, select Pay coordinator directly. Then send in a check payable to St. Michael Parent Group for the amount of your order.
Can I buy eCards and pay immediately? Yes, after you sign up on the RaiseRight website. You can order eCards even while you shop using your phone with a linked credit or debit card, or bank account. However, please note there is a handling fee as shown on the website.

When do I get my tuition credit? Vouchers are issued once a year in May. Tuition credit is applied to the following school year tuition balance.
What happens with my credit after all my tuition is paid? The Scrip Agreement allows you to choose how you want your credit back. Options include a tuition voucher, a donation to the St. Michael Parent Group, a donation to Sr. Carolyn's Tuition Assistance Fund, a donation to St. Michael Church, or cash back.
Can I give the cards as gifts? Yes, the cards are just like any other gift card and they make great birthday and Christmas gifts.
Can I use the gift cards for family trips? Yes, there are hotel chains, Delta, cruise lines and even Walt Disney cards. If using a hotel card, tell the hotel when you check in you want to pay by gift cards to avoid them billing the credit card you used to reserve the room. In order to use hotel gift cards, you need to book your reservation directly with the hotel.
Can I drop off order forms when the school is closed? Yes, you can place them in the rectory drop box on the porch or in the collection basket at Sunday Mass.
