Tuition Assistance

Lisa Hudy Ext. 210

Many of our families make great sacrifices to send their children to St. Michael Catholic School. For some families, however, the financial stretch makes the choice difficult. For those families who are unable to afford a Catholic education, and can demonstrate financial need, there are possible opportunities for tuition assistance, both through the Archdiocese of Detroit and through St. Michael Parish. Both tuition assistance programs use FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, with only one application for both and one application fee of $30.00. If you are applying for tuition assistance through both the Archdiocese of Detroit and St. Michael Parish, families must check both on the application for consideration. The deadline for both is April 30, 2021.

Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Assistance Program

TO APPLY for financial aid through the Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Assistance Program, elementary students must be in grades K-8 and be members of a parish within the Archdiocese. Families will need to have their application completed by no later than April 30, 2021 and all the supporting financial information submitted by no later than April 30, 2021. Families will be required to submit a completed Pastor's Signature Form, signed by their parish Pastor, to the St. Michael School tuition office no later than April 30, 2021. For families applying for assistance for high school students and elementary students only one pastor signature form per family needs to be submitted. Copies will need to be taken to the other schools. For further information regarding more specifics of the Archdiocese Tuition Assistance Program refer to the Parent Information Letter or contact Lisa Hudy at ext. 210.
